CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving financial strategy and operations. As a critical member of the senior management team, the CFO will play a key role in shaping the financial landscape of CPGCL and ensuring its long-term financial stability and sustainable growth.
JOB PROFILE
The Chief Financial Officer shall lead the financial team of the Company and shall be responsible for ensuring that financial resources are optimally utilized and effectively managed. This includes guiding financial strategy, accounts, tax, maintaining an effective system of internal financial control for taking effective part in ERP implementation, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, financial analysis, and compliance with all applicable financial regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and guide the finance team to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity and performance.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning, and analysis.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records, accounts, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and IFRS.
- Develop and implement sound financial policies and procedures to optimize financial performance.
- Take an active and effective part in the implementation of ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and controls.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, financial advisors, consultants, tax authorities, regulatory authorities, and other relevant forums.
- Present comprehensive financial information to both internal and external platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws, regulations, and policies, including tax and energy sector regulations.
- Provide strategic direction, analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills, with solid attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
ELIGIBILITY
- The candidate must be an active and experienced body of professional accountants in Pakistan or any equivalent international body recognized in Pakistan, with at least five years post-qualification experience in a similar role in a large corporate or public sector organization.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 2nd Division or equivalent qualification (16 or 18 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in the power sector will be preferred.
LEAD WITH INTEGRITY, SAFEGUARD THE FUTURE
CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR (CIA)
This is a strategic leadership position, essential to strengthening internal governance, ensuring compliance, and providing assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls.
The Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) will report administratively to the Chief Executive Officer and functionally to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The ideal candidate must be experienced in establishing and leading an operational internal audit function, with a strong commitment to ethical conduct and professional integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk-based internal audit plan covering all operational, financial, and compliance areas.
- Ensure the internal audit function operates in accordance with best practices, applicable laws, and professional standards, including IFAC and ISACA.
- Conduct independent evaluations of the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, financial controls, and compliance management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior management.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, interpretation, and report-writing skills, with a high level of integrity and discretion.
ELIGIBILITY
- A member of a recognized body of professional accountants having qualification of CA/CMA/ACCA/ICMA or equivalent international body recognized in Pakistan is required.
- At least five years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, including setting up and managing internal control procedures, effective compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 2nd Division or equivalent qualification (16 or 18 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
DEPUTY MANAGER (INTERNAL AUDIT)
The Deputy Manager (Internal Audit) will report to Chief Internal Audit and assist in conducting Accounting, Financial, Credit, and other Operational audits. To have liaison with the External and Commercial auditors of the company, and ensure compliance of statutory and internal audit procedures.
ELIGIBILITY
- A member of a recognized body of professional accountants having qualification of CA/CMA/ACCA/ICMA or equivalent international body recognized in Pakistan is required.
- Minimum of 05 years' relevant post-qualification experience in auditing and risk management, designing of internal control procedures, effective compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in SOE or public sector projects.
- Knowledge of SAP is required.
ASSISTANT MANAGER (INTERNAL AUDIT)
The Assistant Manager (Internal Audit) shall report to Chief Internal Audit and assist to evaluate Accounting, Financial, Credit, and other Operational Audits. To have liaison with the External and Commercial Auditors of the company, and ensure compliance of statutory and internal audit procedures.
ELIGIBILITY
- A member of a recognized body of professional accountants having qualification of CA/CMA/ACCA/ICMA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international University/Institute.
- Minimum of 03 years' relevant post-qualification experience in auditing and risk management, designing of internal control procedures, effective compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal controls especially in SOE or public sector projects.
- Knowledge of SAP is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
