- Position: Head of Legal (SVP/EVP) - Contractual
- Number of Positions: 1
- Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and execute legal documentation.
- Analyze court decisions and recommend policy changes.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Manage 31 Legal Litigation Units (LLUs) across the country.
- Handle litigation in various courts.
- Maintain updated banking law compendium.
- Monitor legislation and court judgments.
- Work effectively in a team and ensure timely task completion.
- Handle other assignments from bank management.
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience, including 10 years in financial institutions.
- Qualification:
- Minimum LLB Degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institute.
- How to Apply:
- Applicants dismissed or terminated from previous employment due to disciplinary reasons or convicted by a court are ineligible.
- The position is contractual for 5 years, extendable based on performance, with competitive remuneration.
- The maximum age limit is 55 years as of the closing date.
